Rotary Heat Exchanger introduction (HOLTOP)

What is heat recovery wheels or rotary heat exchangers? 

Rotary heat exchanger is energy accumulator in air handling units, this products in AHU can recovery energy from indoor air when the AHU brings outdoor fresh air to indoor. The work principle can be described as a thermal wheel consists of a circular honeycomb matrix of heat-absorbing material, which is slowly rotated within the supply and exhaust air streams of an air handling system. As the thermal wheel rotates heat is picked up from the exhaust air stream in one half of the rotation, and given up to the fresh air stream in the other half of the rotation.  

In this article, I want to introduce about the HRW features of Beijing HOLTOP Artificial Environment Technology CO.,LTD.

1, Material categorization:

The wheels can be sensible wheel and enthalpy wheel. Sensible heat recovery wheel is made by 0.05mm aluminum foil. Enthalpy wheel is made by aluminum foil, which surface adopt 3A molecular sieve coating technology. 

2, The features: 

HOLTOP heat recovery exchanger range is from 500mm to 5000mm , and the product has passed EUROVENT and CE certificate.

3, Double sealing system

Unique double sealing system is installed around periphery and along with the central beam, The sealing materials are soft and dense of small friction and longer service life.

4, Purge section

In order to reach purge effect, fresh air side and return air side have at least 200 Pa pressure difference. When condition is satisfied, purge sector ensures leakage rate lower than 0.3% exhaust air to fresh air.

HOLTOP recent million level projects in end of June to July 2013

The twelfth order amount above 1 million.  In 9th July, HOLTOP Chongqing office signed contract amount reaches 1.34 million RMB, total involved in 168 pieces HRV, the project is located in Chong Qing province China, is commercial building integrated with residential building.

             

The eleventh order amount above 1 million. In 5th July, HOLTOP Wuahan office signed contract amount reaches 3 million RMB, involved 33 pieces heat recovery air handling units, the projects is commercial building located in Wuhan city, China.

The tenth order amount above 1 million. In 28th June, HOLTOP Chengdu office signed contract amount reaches 1.6 million, involved in heat recovery air handling units and heat recovery ventilator products total 54 pieces. The project is a commercial building located in Chengdu city.
